💼 About the Role

We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our properties. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm, with occasional on-call shifts (one week per month). 🔧 What You’ll Do

Work Orders & Property Maintenance (60%)

• Troubleshoot plumbing, light electrical, and HVAC issues efficiently

• Assist with unit make-ready, painting, and repairs

• Preserve the charm and functionality of historic properties

• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards

• Manage work orders via iPhone app, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues as needed

Communication & Collaboration (15%)

• Keep residents, vendors, and internal teams informed on work progress

• Coordinate with vendors as needed to complete work efficiently

On-Call Responsibilities (5%)

• Respond to emergencies during scheduled after-hours shifts (one week/month)

Other Responsibilities (20%)

• Address interruptions or unplanned events promptly

• Support team objectives and contribute to a positive resident experience

✅ What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• 1 year of experience in make-ready, maintenance, or similar field

• Comfortable with hand tools and moderate-to-heavy physical work (lift 50–100 lbs, climb ladders, stand ~90% of the workday)

• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude
