Field Operations and Logistics Supervisor
We are a regional furniture and appliance retailer expanding our service area. We are seeking a hands-on operations leader to oversee our logistics function and build the team and processes needed to support increased volume.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the distribution center
- Supervise warehouse and delivery teams across shipping and receiving
- Coordinate with store management on inventory, scheduling, and logistics needs
- Oversee maintenance of facility, trucks, and equipment
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate team members
- Establish structure, accountability, and performance standards
- Improve processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong communicator with the ability to lead teams effectively
- Proven experience supervising crews or field-based teams
- Organized with solid time management skills
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable around equipment and trucks
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Ideal background: construction foreman, delivery/logistics supervisor, or field operations leader
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
