Uptown Dental is seeking a certified or registered Dental Assistant to join our growing practice! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable, assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining patient records, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and helping ensure the practice as a whole runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate would be positive, hardworking, and enjoy working well with others as a collaborative member of the team.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Obtain digital dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and update patient records
- Assist with dental laboratory procedures
- Schedule patient visits and help manage the dental appointment calendar
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and stock rooms as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Expanded functions a plus but not required
- Proficiency using Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record system for patient documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
