"The most fun job ever!" that's how employees describe being a FASHION BUYER with us! Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry everything from mall to luxury brands at up to 70% off regular retail/resale prices. Get first looks at new and Pre-loved Fashion and Designer items and appraise them using our software system (we'll train). We aim to make fashion more sustainable and that's where you come in. We're looking for part-time Buyers and can train the right candidate on everything you need to know. Part-time Buyers typically work 15-28 hours per week. Interested?? here's more info:
Responsibilities:
- Select and price gently-used clothing & shoe styles for our customers with expertise
- Merchandise clothing
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work with the managers to keep the sales floor organized
- Registers and ringing transactions
- Must be available for open or closing shifts regularly
- Must be a fast learner, responsible, & have open availability on weekends
- Must show initiative and be ready to dive in on tasks
