We are seeking passionate, self-driven, Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with a specialty in Family Medicine who wants to join a dynamic team and have a rewarding career. We will pay between $65 - $85 per hour and we offer lots of benefits to include Paid time off.
A Nurse Practitioner’s / Physician Assistant responsibilities include helping with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. The ideal candidate will please have at least 5 years of experience and we hope to hear from you soon.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Prescribe medication, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinationsOrder, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Manage chronic health conditions
- Dictate and document all patient interactions
- Perform Pap smears / HEDIS Measures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Notify managing physician about unusual or unexpected events or problems
- Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities and utilization of management skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding
