Entry Level AI Software Engineer (Fintech)

The training program

• Agile sprints, code reviews, and realistic tickets.
• Curriculum focus: AI-assisted software development, prompt patterns for coding and testing, secure and compliant AI use in regulated environments, code quality and reliability, SDLC automation, cloud deployment basics.
• Capstone: Deliver a production-style slice that uses AI tools to cut cycle time, raise test coverage, and improve documentation quality.
• Deployment: Join the client team on-site, contribute to existing services and apps, and continue using AI to accelerate delivery.

What you will do on the job

• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted DevSecOps practices, using large language models and automation tools to accelerate secure containerization of legacy applications while maintaining security compliance.
• Develop and maintain AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines that automatically generate security policies, container configurations, and infrastructure-as-code templates based on application requirements and best practices.
• Use AI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, and documentation while following team guidelines.
• Generate unit and integration tests, improve coverage, and reduce defects.
• Speed up PRs with AI-assisted reviews, summaries, and risk notes.
• Query logs and docs with AI to troubleshoot issues and unblock work.
• Partner with product, design, security, and compliance to ship increments that meet fintech standards.

Tech you might use

Java or Python, Spring Boot or Node, REST and gRPC, React, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, AWS or GCP. AI tools such as LangChain, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, code review assistants, test generators, and documentation copilots.

Minimum qualifications

• Hands-on coding experience through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and web or backend basics.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in an Agile team.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Willing to work on-site in one of the listed locations

Nice to have

• Projects that show AI-assisted development, such as AI-generated tests or AI-supported refactors.
• Experience with cloud services, databases, or CI/CD.
• Interest in security, privacy, and handling sensitive data.

Entry Level AI Engineer Responsibilities

• Development in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Participate in technical solution and design discussions.
• Perform proofs of concept and comprehensive solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Add new features while improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability to address client needs.
