Solids Control Technician
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Williston, North Dakota
Job Description:
Pay Rate: $20 / hour (pay goes up based on experience) plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Rotation: 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Hours: 12 hours / day
Per Diem: $45 / day
Travel Pay: $400 / hitch
Housing: Contractors will have housing provided on the rig site for their rotation
Job Summary:
- Rigs-up and rigs-down of service equipment
- Complete documents, reports, and forms in support of the service performed
- Conduct training in the operation of some or all of the following equipment: shale shakers and screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling and slurrification systems, and vacuum and pressure washing systems.
- This position promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process, promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Completion of specific training is preferred.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience is required.
- This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with others, perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
