Material Handler Forklift Operator

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company in Shreveport, LA.

Current Available Shifts:

Pay Rate: $18 - $27 /hr DOE

Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm with some mandatory OT on Fridays

Job Description:

• The Materials Handler is responsible for executing material handling and for movement within the facility in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Issue and transfer parts for production. Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
• Qualifications and Experience:
• High school diploma or general educational development (GED)
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Detail oriented
• Experience in inventory management.
• Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles are preferred.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience
• Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
