What You’ll Do
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be the friendly face (and inbox) behind the scenes, finding, connecting, and hiring top talent across UVS. From crafting eye-catching job posts to hosting career fairs, you’ll pay a huge role in building our team of compassionate, skilled professionals.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for non-doctor positions including veterinary technicians, client service representatives, and administrative support roles
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and design effective sourcing strategies
- Build strong candidate pipelines and deliver an exceptional experience from application to offer
- Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and assist in onboarding new team members
- Represent UVS at recruiting events, career fairs, and campus programs
- Maintain and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment metrics
- Collaborate with Marketing and HR to elevate UVS’s employer brand
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare, veterinary, or service industries
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for people, problem-solving, and teamwork
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus but your energy and initiative are what really matter
The Details
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
