- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess a keen eye for detail. This role involves setting up and operating various CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and plasma cutting equipment.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for assembly and tooling processes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of completed work.
Skills
- Proficient in CNC programming and operation, including experience with CNC laser cutting and electrical discharge machining.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as stamping press operations, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during machining tasks.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure product standards are met.
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
