Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, educational, and engaging atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily activities, meal preparation, and educational tasks tailored to the children's needs.
Schedule
- Tuesdays: 12:30pm to 4:30pm, and beginning in January, 9:00am to 1:00pm
- Thursdays: 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, hands-on care to children in their home
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, dishes, laundry, etc.)
- Communicate with parents about daily routines and any concerns
Requirements
- Ability to prepare snacks for children.
- Strong caregiving skills with experience in daycare or similar settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages.
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate varying family needs is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Warm, patient, and trustworthy personality
- Must be at least 18 years old
