Machine Maintenance Assistant Job Description
Immediate opening for a maintenance associate to assist the maintenance manager in daily preventative and reactive maintenance in a busy manufacturing facility.
Machine Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of maintenance on equipment within the facility.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain multiple pieces of machinery.
- Utilize hand and power tools.
- Follow preventative maintenance protocols.
- Comply with all safety rules and policies.
- Able to climb 14-15 foot ladders as needed.
Machine Maintenance Assistant Skills
- Understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
- Comfortable with computers.
- Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
