Sales And Marketing Representative

The Sales and Marketing Representative plays a crucial role in supporting business development and marketing activities for Upstate Federal Credit Union. This position focuses on promoting the credit union's services, driving membership growth, and engaging with the community to strengthen local relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Make outside sales to known acquaintances and sales leads for the purpose of increasing share and loan business for Upstate Federal Credit Union

·        Participate in community events for the Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit organizations for the purpose of increasing exposure to Upstate FCU for the purpose of increasing share and loan business, as well as establishing new Business Partnerships

·        Ensure branches receive marketing material in a timely manner

·        Responsible for assisting with the planning and working with the branch manager on anniversaries and Grand Opening celebrations or other Special events. Plans event, food, decorations, invitations, giveaways and advertising when necessary

·        Visit current business partners, posting flyers to promote the credit union and its products and services

·        Assist in monthly sign (plan-o-gram) for branches

·        Assist electronic sign messages

·        Runs errands necessary for the credit union success

·        Courier service to the Branch offices

·        Market with Branch Managers, including: visiting current business partners and making cold calls to businesses for potential new share and loan growth and new business partners and payroll deductions from onsite signups. 

·        Assist in planning and set up of Annual Meeting

·        Other duties as assigned

·        Strong communication and organizational skills

·        Strong computer, telephone, calculator and other office machine knowledge

·        Ability to work in fast-paced environment

·        Ability to make sound decisions

·        Demonstrates independent work abilities  

Physical Demands:

·        This position requires the employee to regularly talk or hear. Required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. This position may require occasionally lifting 10 pounds.

Travel:

·        Travel is expected in this position. Rarely overnight travel is required.
