Product Development Engineer
Location: Warsaw, NY
Reports To: Engineering Manager

As we continue to expand our product offerings, including innovative window systems and new architectural solutions, we are growing our engineering team to increase our product development capabilities, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and bring new ideas from concept to production. This position offers the opportunity to help shape the future of our products.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop custom architectural door and window products.
- Support new product development from concept through production.
- Create engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Research new materials, hardware, and manufacturing methods.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, and customers to develop practical engineering solutions.
- Design products for quality, performance, and manufacturability.
- Assist with prototypes, testing, and continuous product improvement.
- Provide engineering support for Manufacturing and Operations.
- Serve as a backup for our drafting team by assisting with production drawings and documentation as needed.
- Contribute to a collaborative engineering team where flexibility and cross-training are valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD.
- Manufacturing, product development, or drafting experience.
- Knowledge of architectural products, windows, doors, or building systems.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
