Role Description
The Business Operations Manager for Landscaping is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and employee activity for all social enterprise landscaping contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following below. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Assign tasks to staff based on job requirements or special assignments
- Help execute and implement new policies and procedures for all landscaping contracts Log arriving and departing employees in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Field calls and texts from employees regarding daily attendance Consistently deliver high levels of customer service
- Visit each customer site a minimum of once per week Send weekly reports as required by contracts to customers
- Comprehensive understanding of scheduling, hiring, conflict resolution, and fleet management. Effective time management and ability to work independently at a fast pace with high volume of employees
- Evaluate and identify areas for improvement and efficiency in daily operations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Landscape Maintenance
- Experience in Landscape Management and overseeing teams effectively
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Capability to manage schedules, budgets, and ensure high-quality performance
- Experience in client-focused service and maintaining long-term relationships
- A valid driver’s license and ability to perform physical tasks related to the role
