What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transcriptionist position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The Lab Transcriptionist works closely with the Pathologist to type reports, procedures, and other assigned documents. This position involves answering phone calls and routing them appropriately, as well as copying and faxing documents, assisting with the front office and performing other duties as needed.
Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent; previous transcriptionist experience, preferably in a hospital laboratory setting.
