As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build intelligent, secure, and human-centered technologies at the intersection of software and hardware. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to systems that enhance how people work and collaborate—while learning from a top-tier team at the forefront of AI innovation.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore how devices connect with the world, including software that interfaces with sensors, security features, and smart user experiences. Your work may touch areas like device interaction, embedded systems, operating systems, or early prototypes of AI-enabled features.
This internship is designed to offer broad exposure to real-world challenges while helping you deepen your technical skills and product sense.
- Contribute to prototyping and building software features that interface with sensors, biometric inputs, or device hardware.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build intuitive, privacy-respecting user experiences.
- Support testing, debugging, and performance tuning across software layers (e.g., applications, services, OS interfaces).
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and iterative development alongside senior engineers and mentors.
- Assist in building internal tools and automation to improve development workflows and product reliability.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Graduating in the class of 2027.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C , or Java.
- Interest in systems programming, embedded development, security, or human-device interaction.
- Curiosity about how software and hardware work together, and a desire to work at the intersection of the two.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a 10 to 12-week full-time internship based in San Francisco, CA, expected to run from May/June to August 2026.
