Upside Property Management is a fast-growing property management company serving Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. We are looking for an experienced, reliable Cleaner who can help us build and expand the cleaning side of our property-management operation.

This is not just a position for someone looking to clean a few units each week. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of a growing company, take ownership of their work, and help us build a stronger cleaning operation over time.

The position will start part-time, but our goal is to grow it into a full-time role in the near term as our portfolio and cleaning needs continue to expand.

Duties

• Perform turnover cleaning in vacant apartments and rental units between residents.
• Clean and prepare units so they are ready for showings and new tenant move-ins.
• Perform recurring cleaning at larger apartment properties and other properties managed by Upside.
• Clean common areas, hallways, entryways, and other shared spaces as assigned.
• Support cleaning and turnovers for short-term rentals and Airbnb properties.
• Help ensure Airbnb units are consistently clean, organized, and ready for arriving guests.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, supply needs, or other property concerns discovered while cleaning.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and help track materials needed for assigned properties.
• Coordinate with property-management and maintenance staff to ensure units and properties are ready on schedule.
• Travel between Upside-managed properties as required.
• Take on additional cleaning and property-care responsibilities as the company grows.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude — this is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• At least one year of solid professional cleaning experience.
• Strong understanding of cleaning standards, products, and methods.
• Ability to clean efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned work independently.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of assigned properties and cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to identify cleanliness, maintenance, or property-condition issues and communicate them to the team.
• Ability to travel between properties in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow with a fast-moving company.

Preferred, but not required:

• Apartment turnover or move-out cleaning experience.
• Airbnb or short-term rental cleaning experience.
• Experience cleaning apartment common areas or larger residential properties.
• Experience working around property management, maintenance, hospitality, or real estate.
