About the Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a book of business. This is not a sales position—your focus will be on servicing existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting retention through excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a designated book of commercial lines business
- Respond to client inquiries, process policy changes, and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with producers and marketing to support new and renewal business
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of policies, endorsements, audits, and certificates
- Maintain up-to-date client and policy records in our agency management system
- Stay current with industry knowledge through continuing education
Qualifications
- 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Active Property & Casualty license
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Applied Systems (EPIC or TAM)
- Industry designations such as CIC, CISR, or ACSR
