We are seeking a Salesperson / Project Developer who is passionate about home design, construction, and helping clients bring their vision to life.
Position Overview
The Salesperson / Design Developer serves as the first point of contact for new leads and plays a central role in developing projects from concept through signed contract. This person will guide prospective clients through our process, collaborate with our design and production teams, and ensure each project is aligned with our company’s quality standards and client experience goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to new project inquiries
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs, project feasibility, and scope
- Develop project ballpark pricing, proposals, and timelines in collaboration with our design, estimating amnd production teams
- Present project concepts, materials, and pricing to clients with clarity and confidence
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with clients throughout the sales process
- Track and manage leads using Hubspot CRM system
- Build strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners
- Stay informed on design trends, materials, and construction techniques
- Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy
Qualifications
- Background in construction, remodeling, or design is highly preferred
- Proven experience in sales, project development, or client relationship management
- Must understand general construction and design practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand design intent and translate it into practical construction solutions
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency with CRM software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to design and work with other designers in Chief Architect is highly desirable
- Knowledge of BuilderTrend a bonus.
