Overview
We are looking for an experienced Flexographic Pressman to join our production team. This position is for someone who knows how to set up, run, and maintain a Uteco flexographic printing press in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The right candidate must have at least 3 years of flexographic printing experience, be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to produce clean, consistent print quality.
Responsibilities:
- * Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
- * Set up inks, adjust registration, and prepare jobs for production
- * Run printed film, bags, or flexible packaging materials according to job specifications
- * Monitor print quality throughout the run
- * Make adjustments for color, registration, tension, impression, and ink flow
- * Read and follow job tickets, artwork specs, repeat sizes, and production instructions
- * Check materials, inks, and rolls before and during production
- * Troubleshoot common press issues during production
- * Keep the machine running efficiently with minimal waste
- * Work with helpers, supervisors, and quality control to complete jobs properly
- * Follow all safety procedures and company production standards
Requirements:
- * Minimum 3 years of flexographic press experience
- * Experience printing on plastic film or flexible packaging preferred
- * Must understand registration, ink viscosity, color matching, anilox rolls, and press setup
- * Able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the shift
- * Must be dependable and show up on time
- * Must be able to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- * Strong attention to detail
- * Able to troubleshoot print defects and press problems
- * Must be able to follow job tickets and written instructions
- * Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
