We are looking for a caring and reliable Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our healthcare team in Loch Raven, MD. The successful candidate will assist in providing compassionate care to elderly residents, helping with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
Help with feeding, mobility, and other routine tasks to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
Monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to nursing staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and areas.
Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
Valid GNA certification in the state of Maryland.
Previous experience working with elderly patients is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
