Job Title: GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) Per Diem
Location: Harford County, MD
Shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Flexible for weekend shifts
Pay Rate: $24 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) to join our team on a per diem basis for our facility in Sterling Care Riverside. As a GNA, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents, while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nurse
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current certification as a GNA in Maryland
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
