Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store remains organized and inviting. Your enthusiasm for products and ability to engage with customers will contribute to the overall success of our retail team.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with poster and card design on a computer, and printing them.
• Maintain an organized stock area, restocking shelves as necessary to ensure product availability.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling products when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive shopping environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in retail sales environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Proficiency in working on computer, and basic poster design on Microsoft Word or Canva.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of product features and benefits to provide informed recommendations.
