Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions
- Handle cash and manage cash register operations accurately
- Perform merchandising tasks to maintain appealing product displays
- Stock shelves and ensure products are organized and accessible
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Utilize retail math skills for inventory management and sales reporting
Experience
- Previous experience in retail store sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with retail store operations is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Basic computer tasks such as email, printing, and data entry
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Safely lift and move packages as needed
- Ability to work on Saturdays and Sundays
- Flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts as needed
