The UPS Store #4103 (located on Brooks Street near the Southgate Mall) is looking for a Full-Time Center Store Associate. If you have a positive attitude and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, keep reading!
Basic responsibilities for this position include greeting and interacting with store customers, assisting with the shipment of packages (including accurate data and address entry; processing domestic, international, and high-value shipments; and adherence to HazMat and specialty shipment policies), custom packaging of various items, processing Return Item Shipments and Drop-Off Packages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and basic copy/print assistance. The ability to regularly lift items up to 35lbs without assistance is required.
The tentative schedule for this position is Mon-Fri, from 9:00am-4:00pm (possibly earlier or later in the day as needed - weekday store hours are 7:30am-6:00pm). As such, this position offers 35 hrs/wk.
Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances, and a genuine willingness to help others.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain composure during periods of high customer traffic
- Keen organizational skills and close attention to detail
- A willingness to learn new things, and the ability to apply them to prior knowledge
- Ability to regularly lift items up to 35lbs without assistance
