What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Uprite Construction Corporation?

What You'll Do
- Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management
- Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones
- Review drawings and specifications to help identify scope and potential issues
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines
- Track procurement activities and help ensure materials arrive on schedule
- Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting
- Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams
- Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking
- 1-3 years of construction experience or internship experience, preferably from a general contractor
- Experience with ground up construction and commercial construction
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred
- Desire to learn and grow within commercial construction
