What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Director position at Uprite Construction Corporation?

What You'll Do
- Lead multiple infrastructure projects across the region from preconstruction through closeout
- Provide oversight and direction to Project Managers and field teams
- Drive performance across schedule, budget, safety, and quality
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction on pursuits, pricing, and risk review
- Build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and key stakeholders
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to protect project outcomes
- Mentor and develop team members, building a strong leadership bench
- Collaborate with executive leadership on regional strategy and resource planning
- 10 to 15 plus years of experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction
- Strong background in roads, underground utilities, site development, and bridges
- Experience managing multiple large scale projects or programs
- Proven experience with DOT, municipal, or public works projects
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and schedules
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Must be based in Nashville, Tennessee or within close commuting distance
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
