What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - (PRN) position at Uprising Addiction Center?
We are now interviewing PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
Our LPNs:
- maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policy and procedures, other external governing and credentialing bodies, performance improvement standards.
- assess the client utilizing the nursing process to formulate an individualized plan of care for each client, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes consistent with policy and appropriate to the current client’s condition, which promote, maintain, and restore physical and mental health, and prevent illness.
- interpret age/disability specific information in response to client population served.
- provide for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with the policies and procedures, physicians orders and/or current practice.
- is responsible for thorough, accurate reporting, and documentation of the client's symptoms, responses, and progress.
- assume responsibility for professional development, continuing education and maintaining licensure.
- function as an advocate for client needs/safety.
All duties to be performed in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Uprising Addiction Center, policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Current and unencumbered LPN license in Louisiana
Mental Health experience preferred
