Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for a Medicare Biller. The Medicare Biller will be responsible for managing the billing process, preparing and submitting claims, addressing billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate coding and documentation for Medicare services. Day-to-day tasks will include working with financial records, troubleshooting billing issues, and providing effective communication with clients, internal teams, and payers across various channels. The position requires timely submission and follow-up to ensure efficient reimbursement and resolution of claims.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Billing Process and Invoicing for Medicare-related services
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles
- Effective Communication skills, including collaboration and client engagement
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address billing issues
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines, claim submission processes, DDE
- Experience with billing software; proficiency in using digital tools and real-time data platforms, such as Unlocked™, is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
- Prior experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare revenue cycle management is preferred
