What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP Support Manager position at Upper Valley Services?
Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermont’s designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.
The Direct Support Professional Manager will supervise DSPs to ensure that "each individual is receiving healthy, safe, and person-centered supports and actively working on personalized goals that foster growth and decision making in addition to review relevant and timely data for programmatic and medical changes for everyone being served by the DSPs.
Candidates must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; crisis experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Supervisor experience preferred.
- Candidates will undergo background checks, must have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
