Job Summary: Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of our facility?s assets. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of all facility systems and equipment. The Facilities Assistant will work closely with the Facilities Director and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Pay Range: Min 19.5 Mid- 21.74 Max- 23.98
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Operations:
Collaborate with the Facilities Director to develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool operations, and structural components.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with internal teams and external vendors to address issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times by performing routine inspections and addressing maintenance issues as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures for the staff and facility users to minimize the isk of accidents or injuries.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure the facility meets all applicable health and safety standards and requirements.
Communication and Collaboration:
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and events by providing support and assistance as needed.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule maintenance and repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
Communicate effectively with staff, management, and stakeholders regarding facility maintenance updates, requirements, and issues.
