Surgical Technologist:
Key Duties include:
- Preparing the operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- You will work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia and other members of the health care team to ensure an efficient, effective and safe surgical experience
- Responsible to ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and in proper working or
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in ambulatory surgery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
· Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
· Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures performed in an ASC setting
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Central Sterilization knowledge preferred
