Upper Limits is a locally owned smoke shop and glass studio that has served Springfield for more than a decade. We’re looking for a dependable, outgoing Retail Sales Associate who enjoys helping customers and wants to become part of a knowledgeable, close-knit team.

This is a hands-on retail position in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help customers find the right products, operate the register, restock merchandise, maintain an organized sales floor, and learn about our wide selection of products. Experience with smoke shop, vape, or cannabis-accessory products is helpful, but we provide product training.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
• Learn our products and make thoughtful recommendations based on customer needs
• Accurately operate the register and process cash and card transactions
• Restock shelves and assist with receiving and organizing inventory
• Keep displays, counters, and the sales floor clean and inviting
• Verify customer age and follow all store policies and applicable regulations
• Help prevent inventory errors by paying close attention to product selections and transactions
• Assist with other store responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Previous retail or customer-service experience required
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Friendly and comfortable starting conversations with customers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to learn quickly and retain detailed product information
• Comfortable multitasking during busy periods
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Smoke shop, vape, or cannabis-accessory product knowledge is preferred but not required

Scheduling

Applicants must have some availability to work evenings and weekends. Night-shift availability is especially helpful. Both four-hour and eight-hour shifts are available at different times throughout the day.
