Job Summary
The High School/Alternative Education Principal serves as the educational leader responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of a comprehensive educational program for students in grades 9 through 12 across traditional, independent study, and alternative education settings. This role operates as a collaborative member of the leadership team under the general supervision of the Superintendent and/or designee, carrying out the guidance of the Board of Trustees. The Principal utilizes the district’s goals, LCAP, and school improvement plans to guide both personal leadership and the work of the school staff at Upper Lake High School, Upper Lake Independent Study, and Clover Valley High School.
