Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the site administrator or designee(s), the duties of the Instructional Aide are to complete advanced tasks to support certificated staff with students' academic, behavioral, physical, and social/emotional needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Letter of Introduction - Resume - Two current professional letters of recommendation - Transcripts for verification of AA or 48-semester units; or - Passing Score of the Paraeducator test. (Test administered on site) Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or Equivalency. - Associate of Arts degree or passing of the paraeducator exam. - Some clerical experience with knowledge of computers and related programs. - Experience specific to a preschool through age 22 in a special education setting is preferred. - Specialized certification related to supporting student(s) and program(s) needs (i.e. EMT, CNA, Etc.) preferred. - Clean and clear driving record and valid California Driver's License. - Ability to pass random drug screenings.
