Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care, assists providers with clinical and clerical duties, and maintains the dental clinic.
Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Provides dental care and outreach in clinic and non-traditional settings.
- Prepares treatment rooms and patients for treatments, maintains dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Assists with routine clinic support activities by providing assistance to the dentists and hygienists during the patient treatment plan.
- Collects and documents patient intake data.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Evidence of basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Certification from a recognized Dental Assistant Program or State of Michigan Registered Dental Assistant, preferred.
- Experience working as a dental assistant, preferred.
- Completed X-ray certification, preferred.
