Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Office Manager located in New York, NY. The Medical Office Manager will oversee daily operations of the medical office, manage staff schedules, and ensure smooth workflow. Responsibilities include handling patient inquiries, managing appointments, maintaining medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the role involves supervising administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication between staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Office operations and knowledge of healthcare procedures
- Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities
- Proficiency in managing Receptionist Duties and front desk tasks
- Stong computer skills, EHR knowledge and HIPPA compliance a must
- General understanding of Medicine and healthcare environments
- Leadership and organizational skills to oversee staff and office functions
- Familiarity with medical record systems and office software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in medical office management strongly preferred
