Responsibilities
- Provide home-based early childhood education services to children ages 0–5 and their families.
- Support children's development and learning through age-appropriate educational activities and experiences.
- Build respectful, culturally responsive and trusting relationships with families while supporting child-development, school-readiness, and family-partnership.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment for children and families.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow program policies and requirements.
Requirements
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field with coursework equivalency.
- Minimum high school diploma with a Home Visiting CDA and Family Certification Credential.
- Previous early childhood experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with young children and families.
- Commitment to supporting the goals and mission of the Head Start program.
