Overnight is 11pm to 7am, other shifts may also be available.
UBCSS is seeking a Residential Behavioral Assistant PRN for the Sunrise Residential Rehab Program. This candidate will provide daily identification/monitoring of residential houses for safety and cleanliness and teach appropriate hygiene skills when needed. This candidate will also assist with meal planning and preparation, implementation of recreation, social and individual community outings to meet residential needs. The person in this position will have use of agency vehicles to accompany residents to appointments in the community. Some appointments may warrant driving on the highway, distances may vary. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are mandatory.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in the mental health or human services field. An associate’s degree or higher is preferable. A high school diploma with experience will be considered. Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on emotional maturity needed. Good written and oral communication skills are necessary. This position requires the candidate to have the ability to be organized, multitask, and work well under pressure. Computer literacy is a must!
