UpNorth Creations is looking for a motivated, dependable Jack-of-All-Trades to join our growing team. We perform residential remodeling, restoration, maintenance, and repair work throughout the Birmingham and surrounding areas.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Strong carpentry skills
✅ Drywall hanging, finishing, and painting experience
✅ Fence and deck construction/repairs
✅ Window and door installation
✅ Siding repairs and replacement
✅ Roof repairs
✅ General home renovation experience
✅ Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
Requirements:
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Basic hand tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Dependable attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be willing to accept W-2 employment (not 1099)
Probationary Period:
All new hires will complete a 30-day probationary period. This allows us to evaluate workmanship, reliability, professionalism, and overall skill level before permanent placement.
