Join Our Team as a Patient Transporter – Part-Time, Second Shift
UPMC is looking for a dedicated Patient Transporter to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care. This part-time position works second shift (11:00 a.m. – Midnight), including an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.

What We’re Looking For:
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in every interaction
- Strong attention to safety and detail

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients and equipment between units and treatment areas
- Deliver supplies, equipment, and medications promptly and accurately, ensuring proper handoff to nursing staff
- Perform inspections and disinfect transportation equipment
- Accurately record transportation data in tracking systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor
