Responsibilities:

May train new operators to ensure they understand protocols and procedures effectively.

Perform system data entry tasks upon request to maintain accurate records and data management.

Provide tailored service to various answering service clients, adhering to their specific protocols and needs.

Process emergency codes or STAT pages swiftly to ensure urgent matters are addressed promptly.

Initiate voice pages as needed to relay important information to relevant personnel.

Offer Physician on Call information to individuals who request it, ensuring they receive accurate details.

Use required phrasing consistently when answering telephone calls to maintain professionalism and clarity.

Provide dialing instructions to patients when requested, while managing multiple lines and ensuring excellent customer service.

Determine the caller's requirements, such as the desired extension or information needed, and efficiently transfer calls.

Offer status updates on any pages currently in progress to the individual who requested the information.
