Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Clinician.
- Assist with patient positioning and transport within the OR suite.
- Open supplies and equipment to help establish a sterile field.
- Clean and maintain specialty equipment (e.g., lasers, video towers, microscopes).
- Help nurses with instrument tray setup and coordination with SPD for tray integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in the OR and surrounding areas.
- Transport specimens to the lab and communicate effectively with anesthesia and OR staff.
- Perform safety checks, change bed linens, empty hampers, and return equipment.
- Remain accessible in operating rooms and assist with patient movement.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
