Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and related building infrastructure.
- Maintain a valid Class A Stationary Engineer’s license (City of Pittsburgh) and a current PA driver’s license.
- Conduct chemical analysis and treatment of steam, condensate, and water systems.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports (e.g., temperature, boiler, chemical, fire pump, and alarm logs).
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, fans, motors, pneumatics, and patient care devices.
- Operate the Siemens Building Automation System and respond to system alerts or failures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams (e.g., electrical, carpentry, refrigeration) to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hospital policies.
- Participate in emergency response efforts and mandatory training sessions.
- Recommend improvements to procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, communication, and customer service.
