Join our team as a Senior Professional Staff Nurse on the 16-bed Transitional Care Unit, leading high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and helping patients regain their independence and enjoy everyday life again!
Status: Flex Full Time (28-40 hours/week)
Shifts: Primarily night shift & rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
Applies the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care to create a healing environment, setting daily goals and plans of care that address holistic patient needs.
Passionately develops others by precepting students, graduate nurses, and new hires, identifying learning opportunities, and supporting continuous professional growth.
Demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Incorporates evidence-based practice, professional guidelines, and organizational goals to drive quality improvement and positive patient outcomes.
Serves as a role model and recognized unit leader in clinical expertise, teaching, specialized practice, and/or evidence-based initiatives.
Provides constructive feedback, engages in peer review, and leads or participates in teams to promote innovation, unit improvement, and shared governance.
Fosters a healthy workplace by building strong relationships, demonstrating cultural awareness, addressing workplace challenges, and maintaining work-life balance.
Title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience.
