Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a Sleep Technologist to work at the main hospital and at the Children's Hospital North Sleep Lab in Wexford. The person in this role will work 3 days a week from 5:45pm to 6:00am.
The Sleep Technologist role operates under the supervision of the Lead Sleep Technologist and in collaboration with administrative and medical management. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting both in-center and out-of-center sleep studies, therapeutic interventions, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for sleep studies by reviewing patient charts and verifying orders.
- Set up sleep studies, including electrode and sensor application per AASM guidelines.
- Conduct sleep studies with a focus on quality and patient care.
- Analyze and score sleep studies accurately.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Ensure scoring competency through monthly AASM ISR requirements.
Qualifications:
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
- Strong understanding of sleep study procedures and equipment.
