This is a senior-level role that will directly support our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, UPMC, and the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of UPMC Insurance Services Division, along with the broader executive team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Financial Oversight:
- Lead the development of short- and long-term strategies to reduce medical costs through alternative care and financing models.
- Work closely with division executives to establish a roadmap for enhancing care management, technology advancements, workflow design, and automation.
- Lead efforts to segment provider networks and increase transparency to drive high-performance networks within a network.
- Care Management & Clinical Integration:
- Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to design and implement initiatives that leverage enterprise resources to improve care for patients with complex and chronic diseases.
- Strategic Financial Support:
- Provide financial leadership and operational engagement across the business, developing strategies to align with company goals.
- Lead efforts to drive profitability, efficiency, and scalable growth through insights and actionable financial analysis.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Strategic Roadmap & Business Oversight:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute a strategic roadmap with clear objectives to drive business results and thought leadership on key strategic and financial decisions.
- Monitor the execution of critical priorities and manage the planning calendar for the business.
- Financial Systems & Risk Management:
- Oversee the implementation and improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure scalability and operational excellence.
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial reporting.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Direct and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring professional development, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.
