Description
UPMC is committed to providing a safe environment for all patients and employees. UPMC Cole is seeking temporary, casual Health Screeners to work day, evening, and weekend shifts based upon availability.
Responsibilities:
As a health / COVID-19 screener, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Understanding and following screening protocols
- Asking a series of health-related questions
- Ensuring individuals maintain appropriate social distancing while taking individuals' temperature using a thermometer if required
- Ensuring all individuals are screened prior to them entering the facility
- Follow guidelines to determine if an individual is clear to enter a facility or turning them away if they are not clear for entry
- Assisting patients with pathfinding through the facility to their destination
- Assisting these patients by either walking them or assisting them in a wheelchair to their destination.
This position will have a set pay rate of $14.16.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Physically capable of pushing a wheelchair and navigating patient to destination.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
