Responsibilities:
- Supply Management: Assemble, distribute, and stock respiratory care supplies throughout the hospital.
- Emergency Support: Assist therapists during CPR and other emergency procedures when needed.
- Service Excellence: Actively listen and respond to the needs of patients, families, physicians, and staff.
- Equipment Tracking: Identify, catalog, and track all respiratory care equipment.
- Sterility Assurance: Clean and process soiled equipment according to departmental policies to maintain sterility.
- Computer Proficiency: Maintain basic proficiency in using the hospital’s computer systems.
- Technical Assistance: Support biomedical technicians in tracking and repairing respiratory equipment.
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize respiratory equipment as needed.
- Training Support: Explain tasks to other employees and students on a routine basis.
- Gas Cylinder Management: Replace oxygen and compressed gas cylinders for patients of all ages and ensure daily equipment replacement.
